The operating platform
- Current Brickell gel cleanser base
- Existing compounding and fill family
- Current exact 3.4 oz / 100 mL operating format
- Existing modular active-addition precedent
Keep the current gel platform, give it an Acadia scent, and use the existing hyaluronic-acid version as the first product candidate. That is a controlled adaptation—not months of new cleanser development.
Current Brickell records show both the regular Clarifying Gel Face Wash and another active face wash that already combines the same gel base, an existing hyaluronic-acid serum, and a separately added scent.
Joe controls the exact formula and process. These are the three questions worth answering—not an open-ended R&D program.
Current gel base plus the new Acadia fragrance. If the other additions cause trouble, this preserves the fastest launch route.
Use the same base + existing hyaluronic-acid serum structure Brickell already runs, then change only the scent.
A recognizable alternative story, but it creates more formulation work. It should not delay Batch B unless marketing expects a material benefit.
The goal is not to sprinkle ingredients into everything. Keep a selected formula unchanged only after its controlled identity, rights, specification, and INCI are reconciled; change a package, scent, or one controlled input only when the commercial value is real.
Current gel cleanser platform and current HA-serum add-in precedent.
New quiet cedar / green citrus scent; existing HA architecture is the recommended bench candidate.
Keep scent-only as fallback.
Current unscented Repairing Vitamin C route.
Intend to change package and brand only in a working 15 mL pack. The current internal analog contains sodium ascorbyl phosphate and an HA-solution input; exact operating identity, rights, stability, INCI, and customer claims remain held.
Controlled identity and claims held.
Current unscented moisturizer-platform candidate; the operating bulk record is misnamed and has no active formula BoM in the current snapshot.
Intend to move the existing bulk into a working 30 mL pack without formula changes, but only after Joe retrieves and reconciles the controlled bulk specification, master formula, rights, and INCI.
Dossier reconciliation and package trial required.
Current unscented Retinol Facial Serum route; introduce gradually before the working alternating-night schedule.
Intend to use the existing formula unchanged in a working 15 mL pack designed to meet the released light, oxygen, compatibility, and dispense requirements. Retinoid identity and strength are formula-defining—not sprinkle-in territory.
Working every-other-night use; identity, strength, dose, warnings, and pack held.
Current richer unscented cream-platform candidate.
Intend to use the richer unscented route unchanged in a working 30 mL pack after Joe reconciles the controlled identity, rights, specification, and INCI. Confirm whether the formula supports “fragrance-free” before using that term.
Dossier reconciliation, tube dispense, and evacuation required.
A clear gel-cleanser candidate with an existing hyaluronic-acid add-in precedent, assigned to the working first slot in both the morning and evening routes.
The plan consolidates the working quantities for the period into one shipment. Final quantities and container forms remain held.
Vitamin C and retinol are formula-defining, so the intent is to keep the selected operating routes unchanged while Joe reconciles them to controlled formula records. The moisturizer and night cream are also intended unchanged, but their controlled identity, rights, specification, and INCI must be reconciled before package qualification can release them.
Build one five-row platform map: exact current analog, bulk/formula identity, existing package/process, current evidence, proposed Acadia change, and estimated release burden. Unknowns stay blank.
